Office Lunch

We take food very seriously here at JH. So serious that we cater in lunch every other Wednesday for the entire office. Salsa Grille, PF Chang’s, Big Apple Pizza and Salvatori’s are a couple of orders we have done in the past.

These are free lunches – all we ask is to bring a side or dessert to share occasionally!

We occasionally will have office meetings that include a carry-in lunch. If there is any leftover food, someone will post in Slack that it is fair game. 

All Things Kitchen

The fridge is available to anyone at JH. You are responsible for cleaning your items out of the fridge on a regular basis. If to-go or disposable items are left in the fridge for more than a week, they will probably be discarded, unless you mark on them otherwise. Coffee creamer is restocked as needed and is available to everyone.

The popcorn machine is fair game! There are instructions on how to use it on the wall. Please clean-up after yourself and clean out the machine after using.

The Bevi sometimes runs out of flavors – if this happens while you are using it, more than likely we already know and have a new flavor on order.

There is a JH Cleaning Crew that rotates each month. An email will be sent out on which team/month you are responsible. Although there are set teams – cleaning up after yourself is always preferred.

Team Outings

We have 2 different kinds of team outings – one is to celebrate JH and the other is to celebrate our community.

Quarterly JH Events

These events happen each quarter. Following a structured budget – we have outings on-site and off-site! Some past outings have been Food Trucks, TinCaps Games and Combat Ops. It is important to get everyone together, take a break from our work and remember what it is that keeps us coming back every day.

Quarterly Community Service Events

Each quarter we give back to our community in a different way. We try to choose a not-for-profit that is a client of JH, if possible. We vary from monetary, item and time donations. We have served Kate’s Kart, Habitat for Humanity and Junior Achievement to name a few. 

If your volunteer work requires you to be away from the office during regular hours, JH will cover that time, so you won’t need to use PTO.
